How To Create A Restore Point

Hello friends and family, today am going to show you how to create a restore point for your PC.

#1. What is restore point?
Well, System Restore uses restore points to return your system files and settings to an earlier point in time when it was working perfectly before without affecting your personal files.
System image backups stored on hard disks can also be used for System Restore, just like the restore points created by system protection. Although, system image backups contain both your system files and personal data, your data or files will not be
affected by System Restore.
You can use a restore point to restore your computer's system files to an earlier point in time. Restore points are automatically created every week by System Restore and when your PC detects change. This restore points is normally created automatically before any significant system events, such as the installation of a program or device driver.
But if you want to create a restore point manually for some reason or maybe the state your PC is at now is ok and you feel like creating a restore point so that anytime your PC starts giving you problems after installing of an app or driver you can simply restore back to the state it was working perfectly before, then here is the easy way to do that.

#2. How do I create a restore point?
Click the Start button, select Control Panel then at the top right corner of the control panel, you will find a search bar; type “restore” without the quotation and select “create a restore point”. Now select “system Protection” (if you followed this step exactly, you shouldn’t have to select system restore because it’s selected already).
Click “Create” then type the description for your restore point as a reminder of your restore point and then click “Create” to create the restore point.
After the restore point have been created, you will see something like “the restore point was created successfully”. That is all; you have finished creating your restore point.
