So what products am I using you may ask. Well you can read my other blog
pages to see what I have done for the last two weeks and even a month
that has caused such growth and beautiful length retention.
But the first thing I want to discuss is why I condition my hair so much.
My hair is super dry, so I have to use a deep conditioner possibly 3
times a week and leave it in over an hour each time. I know this is not
the normal routine but this is what I have found to work for me. I don't
use just any conditioners on the shelf for $5, I buy the pricier ones
along the range of $15 to $17 that claim to provide extra moisture,
rehydrate the hair and also repair damage. These are the only
conditioners that I own.
Next Let's discuss why I alternate my products.
While you may think it's ok to continue to use one bottle of conditioner
until it's gone. I say different. It's not ok to give your hair a
boring weekly routine. How would you like to eat the same thing every
time you eat? That's my logic. Hair is thirsty for different nutrients
at different times. One day it may need moisture, the next day it may
need shine and so on. You must switch your products up to keep your hair
in a unbalanced routine of accepting new products. Once you start to
use the same product over and over, you will realize that it is boring.
Your hair gets boring too!
Finally, Let's talk about Leaving the conditioner in for as long as possible before rinsing.
In all, when you are co washing, it is ok to rise the product out if
your busy and have to go. However, at least once a week you need to
leave the product in over an hour. It could be two hours, or it could
even be over night. The reason you should do this is that you are not
just washing the product right out. You are giving your product time to
absorb and soak in.
